Description
The cross-section reveals what the tree never showed in life — its growth rings, its radial structure, the map of every year lived. This solid Itaúba disc is a section of time made visible.
Each ring is a year of sun and rain, drought and abundance. Brass follows the concentric circles, amplifying the temporal reading. Braided cotton crosses the surface like meridians, transforming the section into a globe of vegetal memory.
